Hi folks, I’m afraid we’ve been a bit delinquent in getting the newsletter out this summer. The Responsive team has been deep in the process of curating an awesome Responsive Conference. I'm thrilled about the 35 speakers and 200 attendees we have coming from around the world. And I'm excited to create a space where people can come together and share ideas amidst so much chaos, anxiety, and noise in the world today. I am delighted that Addisu Demissie and Marie Szuts will be on stage to talk about politics, work, and Gavin Newsom's efforts to gerrymander in California. I'm looking forward to the CPO Interview-in-the-Round on Politics at Work. These are the kinds of sessions that make Responsive Conference what it is. Responsive.org has always been about experimenting at the forefront of organizational design. How do we build teams, organizations, and careers that are resilient to the increasingly chaotic world we live in? As someone who's worked in more than a dozen industries, I've seen the same dysfunction in the largest nonprofits in the world, fast-moving venture-backed technology companies, and brick-and-mortar SMBs. There are tactics and tools we can share across organizations that make work better, organizations more resilient, and your professional life more adaptable to change. But even more than the sessions, I'm excited about the people you're going to meet at Responsive Conference and the connections you're going to make. Years ago, I produced an event where our producer and a speaker met and eventually got married. Meeting a new client, co-founder, or a new best friend at work... These are the unforeseen connections that can happen at a great event — and the reason we strive to make Responsive Conference a one-of-a-kind experience. If you've considered attending Responsive Conference, join us at the Oakland Museum of California on September 1718. Get your tickets here! Thanks for being the best part of Responsive. See you in September! Best, |

We’re living through unprecedented change. Ten years ago, the Responsive.org Manifesto laid out that “the rate of change continues to accelerate” and “the future is increasingly hard to predict.” Today, those principles are more relevant than ever. I know of no better way to navigate uncertainty than to gather with other executives, founders, and builders to share ideas and learn from each other to design for this rapidly changing future. We have an incredible lineup of speakers at Responsive...
Hi there - Ten years ago, the Responsive.org Manifesto laid out that “The rate of change continues to accelerate” and “The future is increasingly hard to predict.” Today, those principles are more relevant than ever.
