Hi there – We’re five weeks into 2025 and what a world we’re in. During tumultuous times, I know of no better way to build resilience than to bring people together and so I’m delighted to share some updates about RC 2025. As previously, we’re running the conference at the Oakland Museum of California on Sept. 17-18, 2025. The theme this year is “Design for change.” We are placing a renewed focus on how to build adaptable and resilient organizations amidst rapid change, which the authors of Responsive.org articulated almost a decade ago. As they wrote, “The tension between organizations optimized for predictability and the unpredictable world they inhabit has reached a breaking point.” It is those organizations – and people – that adapt best that are the ones most likely to survive.
